Build days are the best days
About the build process
All skate obstacles will be built by us or through other possible channels in the future. We can’t just go crazy and run up in there and build anything and everything. It needs to fit and be cohesive, just like Eastland was. Charlotte Mecklenburg Parks & Recreation has to see plans for each build before building can start on each obstacle as well. I know everyone has ideas and input, and we will find ways to discuss that through conversation/votes/polls or whatever seems to work best. The first builds will be pretty simple, a ledge or two, installing flat bars that we already have, and of course a decent quarter pipe.
A few things we need to say
Do not start building anything without CSF approval. There is a process we have to go through.
Please do not bring random old ramps or other things to skate unless approved by CSF.
Please understand that there can be limits to what we can build.
